Before you cut anything, I have indicated the top, front, right etc please label the reverse of each piece before you cut them! This will be crucial to know for later steps
Carefully cut along the outline of the head and tabs, keeping it as one piece
Fold each tab along where it meets the head, to make a clean crease
Now fold along the midline. Note this can be hard to see on some designs
Bring the pieces together (using your labelling from step 2) to see how it will look
Take your time and stick each tab to its corresponding place on the head

Take your time and stick each tab to its corresponding place on the block
Now cut along the edge of the ears, keeping it as one piece
Then fold the ears in half so they have the pattern on both sides
Now all you have to do is stick the ears on the head
